The Company was incorporated as Hindustan TwyfordsLtd. in 1960 by the Somany family( protagonist group) in collaboration with TwyfordsLtd., UK, to introduce vitreous demitasse ceramic sanitaryware in India. The Company changed its name to Hindustan Sanitaryware & diligence Limited in 1969 and has ago been popularly known as ‘ HSIL ’. In March 2009, the company name changed to HSIL Limited.
HSIL stands altitudinous with strong request leadership in the structure products request and a dominant player in the vessel glass member. The structured product commands further than 38 of the request in the aseptic earthenware assiduity, while the vessel glass is the second largest player in India.
