BASF India was known as R A Cole when it was incorporated in 1943. latterly in the time 1963, the name was changed to Indoplast. In the time 1967, the company was renamed BASF India which is the flagship company of BASF Group. BASF is the world’s leading company in the chemical sector. BASF Group is an empire that caters to colorful parts similar to plastics, care chemicals, construction chemicals, petrochemicals, automotive and refinery chemicals, and paper chemicals.
BASF and its Group companies maintain crucial product spots at Dahej, Mangalore, Ankleshwar, Thane, and Chennai. The Mangalore point is BASF’s largest manufacturing point in South Asia( in terms of area). BASF also maintains two R&D centers in India, Mumbai, and Mangalore, which are part of BASF’s global technology platform. BASF SE holds 90 of BASF Catalysts India Pvt. Limited through its Group companies.
Chemicals manufactured by BASF India feed the requirements of colorful diligence similar to leather, cloth, paper, maquillages, construction, carpets, cosmetics, plastics, medicinal, packaging, and sequestration.
In 2010, three BASF legal realities in India – BASF Coatings( India) Private Limited, BASF Construction Chemicals( India) Private Limited, and BASF Polyurethanes India Limited were intermingled with BASF India Limited.
