 Asian paints have come a long way since its small onsets in 1942. It was set up as a cooperation establishment by four musketeers who were willing to take on the world’s biggest, most notorious makeup companies operating in India at that time. Over the course of 25 times, Asian paints came a commercial force and India'' s leading paints company. Driven by its strong consumer- focus and innovative spirit, the company has been the request leader in paints since 1967. moment, it's double the size of any other makeup company in India. 

 

 The company also operates through ‘ PPG Asian paints Pvt Ltd ’( 5050 JV between Asian paints and PPG Inc, USA, one of the largest automotive coatings manufacturers in the world) to service the adding conditions of the Indian automotive coatings request. The alternate 5050 JV with PPG named ‘ Asian paints PPG Pvt Ltd ’ services the defensive, artificial grease paint, artificial holders, and light artificial coatings requests in India. Vertical integration has seen Asian paints diversify into chemical products similar to Phthalic Anhydride and Pentaerythritol, which are used in the makeup manufacturing process. The company discontinued the product of Phthalic Anhydride from the end of July 2017. moment, the Asian paints group operates in several countries across the world across four regions viz. Asia, Middle East, South Pacific, and Africa through the eight commercial brands viz. Asian paints, Asian paints Berger, SCIB paints, Apco Coatings, Taubmans, Causeway paints, and Kisco.

 Asian paints manufactures a wide range of paints for ornamental and artificial use. In ornamental paints, the company is present in all the four parts v.i.z Interior Wall Finishes, Exterior Wall homestretches, Enamels, and Wood homestretches. It also offers Waterproofing, wall coverings, and bonds in its product portfolio. In the Home Improvement and Decor order, the company is present in the Kitchen and Bath fittings space and independently offers colorful products under the Sleek and Ess Ess brand.
